According to Sheriff Cottom, the wreck happened in the area of County Road 350 South, just west of State Road 154.
An investigation indicates that a male, identified as 57-year-old Kip Sheffler, was riding west on 350 South when a deer ran out in front of him.

The impact caused Sheffler to lose control of the motorcycle, and the bike slid around 110 yards before coming to a rest in a ditch. The deer was killed instantly. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
