Motorcyclist Dead After Crash With Jeep

Fishers, Indiana (October 24, 2022) - A motorcyclist is dead after getting hit by a Jeep Sunday afternoon. The Fishers Police Department said the crash happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 116th Street and Olio Road. When crews arrived, they found a 2017 Jeep Wrangler and a 2022 Yamaha motorcycle.
 


An initial investigation indicates the Jeep was traveling northbound and the Yamaha was southbound at the time of the crash. The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Nathaniel Stewart of McCordsville, died at a local hospital where he was taken for treatment following the crash, according to the Fishers Police Department. The person driving the Jeep stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The crash remains under investigation.

Man killed in Weekend Motorcycle Crash

New Castle, Indiana (October 24, 2022) - A man has died after crashing a motorcycle in Henry County Sunday evening, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office says.
 


At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, New Castle EMS drove upon a motorcycle crash that had happened sometime earlier in the day. They found a motorcycle that had drove off the road, crashed and flipped several times.



Upon arrival medics saw a man at the scene, who has been identified as Eric Steven, 45, of New Castle. He had injuries that consist of being involved in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is unknown but deputies believe that speeding may have been the cause.

Man dies in motorcycle crash near Delphi

Delphi, Indiana (October 22, 2022) - A man died Friday after a losing control of his motorcycle while driving on State Road 25 near Delphi, according to the Indiana State Police. Just after 5:00 p.m., Carroll County 911 dispatch began receiving multiple reports of a serious motorcycle crash northbound on SR 25 just north of Main Street, police said. 

Officers with the Delphi Police Department and deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene. Indiana State Police Crash Reconstructionist were requested to the scene to lead the investigation. 


Preliminary investigation by troopers determined that a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Jerry Spegal, 52 from Camden was traveling northbound on SR 25 when for an unknown reason lost control of the motorcycle, police said.

The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail in the median. Spegal was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The Carroll County Coroner pronounced Spegal dead at the scene.



Both northbound lanes of SR 25 were closed for approximately four hours for investigation and clean up, police said.

Man Dead After Southside Indy Crash

Indianapolis, IN (October 13, 2022) - A 67-year-old man died yesterday afternoon due to a motorcycle crash. According to the Indianapolis Police Department, Southeast District officers responded around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to a reported crash on Madison Avenue near Raymond Street.


Police said the crash involved a car and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene, police said. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 67-year-old Larry D. Lynch. The crash remains under investigation.
