Motorcycle Crash Kills Man in Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN (May 28, 2022) - A man has died after crashing his motorcycle late Friday evening, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

 

This happened about 11:45 P.M. at the railroad tracks on Fletcher Avenue and Harlan Street, that is in the fountain square area. Indianapolis police says the mans motorcycle was locked up, laid it down, and the driver of the motorcycle hit a pole.


According to IMPD, speed was a possible factor in the crash. IMPD also says the man was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.


Police have not identified the name of the man. This story will be updated as more information comes in.

Man Dead After Motorcycle Crash

Middlebury, IN (May 24, 2022) - A Shipshewana man died in a two-vehicle crash at C.R. 4 and Packard Drive, near Middlebury, at 4:45 a.m. Monday, May 23rd. Killed in the crash was Justin Bowen, 33, Shipshewana, Indiana

 

According to a report from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Douglas Dehoff, 35, Goshen, was headed east on C.R. 4, and turned north onto Packard Drive and into the path of a 2004 Suzuki Cruiser motorcycle.

The motorcycle was driven by Bowen and was westbound on C.R. 4. Bowen was pronounced dead at the scene. Dehoff had leg pain and was taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
